Boy, do I remember these days! In my book, I talk about the shifts where I couldn't sit down until my relief got there and the 12-hour shifts that often turned into 14!
I didn't wear a Fitbit or an Apple watch at the time, but I've often wondered how many steps I did in a day.
Presently, I'm doing a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society; the expectation is to walk 100 miles in the month of April. Yesterday was day 5 and I hit 21 miles - so this is exactly how my legs are feeling today!
With that being said, I'm off to walk again today!
